Value |
The numerical value of the selected rating parameter |
Rank |
A horse’s position in the ranking in the selected rating parameter.
For example a horse with the highest Trakform rating value in a race will be the Trakform top-ranked, or Rank number 1. The second highest ranking value will hold position 2, and so on |
Range |
Range relates to the number of rating (value) points from top rated horse, whatever its rating may be. Min –10.0 and Max 5.0 would select all top-rated horses up to 10 points (or kilos) clear of the second-rated horse, and all those horses up to 5 points (or kilos) less than the top-rated horse.
Min -99.0 and Max 5.0 would select all top-rated horses, and all those horses up to 5 points (or kilos) less than the top-rated horse.
Min –99.0 and Max 0.0 Max would select all top-rated horses and all horses with the same rating value, ie all equal top-rated horses. (If Rank Min 1, Max 1 not specified) As you can see, negative values may be used for the top rated horse to specify the number of rating points it is ahead of the second ranked selection |
Price |
The rated odds. These are influenced by the market parameter settings under ‘Setup>Ratings (Extended)’ for the rating selected) |
Overlay |
The degree of difference between the selected rating and another rating that has been chosen as the overlay reference |
API |
The Average Prizemoney Index is determined by dividing a horse’s total prizemoney earnings by the number of starts/1000.
Therefore, a horse that has earned $365,000 in its career of 25 runs would have an API of 14.6 |
Combined |
The Combined Rating parameter can be used only if you have this option which is included in the Enhanced Data Options. Its configuration is determined by you - on the GTX menu bar, select 'Setup>Ratings (Extended)>Combined'.
Combined Ratings are derived by the combination of the values of any two or more of the ratings included in your subscription (but not including GTX Ratings) in percentage weightings specified by yourself.
Possibilities range from combining two rating methods in a 50/50 or other percentage, to using four of the currently available ratings in any percentage mix. |
Consensus |
The Consensus Rating parameter can be used only if you have this option which is included with the Enhanced Data Options.
Its configuration is determined by you - on the GTX menu bar, select 'Setup>Ratings (Extended)> Consensus'. The Consensus rating is calculated by a formula created by assigning a value for 'relative importance' to a number of available variables, which include most of the parameters on this Rating tab of the System Developer |
Consistency |
The
Consistency Rating was originally a component of the Formline Rating but is now included as a rating modifier for some other ratings. It is derived from an algorithm which measures the margin beaten, weighted by prizemoney, at each horse’s previous 10 runs. |
