Form Pattern

The Form Pattern indicates the form for each horse's past eight runs. This summary is displayed on the Field View and Last Start Differences View if you have selected the 'Form Pattern' field to be included. (See 'Select Columns')

The form is represented by:

1 to 9	which indicates the horse's finish position
0	which represents a finish position worse than 9th
X	which represents a spell of 56 days or greater
x	which represents a break of between 42 and 55 days
-	which represents a let up of between 28 and 41 days
